"'I am giving you the choice today between God's blessing or God's curse!

There will be blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I am giving you today,

Bible Commentary:  "It is amazing that God offered the Israelites a choice between blessings and curses. It is even more amazing that most of them actually chose the curses through their disobedience. We have the same fundamental choice today. We can live for ourselves or live in service to God. To choose our own way is to travel on a dead-end road, but to choose God is to receive eternal life."
