Today is Thursday, March 22nd, 2018; Karen's Korner #3758

If this Bible verse doesn't seem to fit for you today, it might another day. Or share it with someone else with a need to hear this word of God:

"Forgetting the past and looking forward to the what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us up to heaven because of what Christ did for us."

~ Philippians 3:13, 14 LAB

Bible Commentary:  "Paul (writer) had reason to feel guilty---he held the coats of those who stoned Stephen, the first Christian martyr. We have all done things for which we are ashamed, and we all live in the tension of what we have been and what we want to be. Because our hope is in Christ, however, we can let go of past guilt and look forward to what He will help us become. Don't dwell on your past, instead, grow in the knowledge of God by concentrating on your relationship with Him NOW. Know you are forgiven, and then move on to a life of faith and obedience. Look forward to a fuller and more meaningful life because of your hope in Christ."
