"He will take care of the helpless and poor when they cry to Him;

for they have no one else to defend them.

Bible Commentary:  "God cares for the helpless and poor because they are precious to Him. If God feels so strongly about the poor and loves them so deeply, how can we ignore their plight? We should examine what we are doing to reach out with God's love for the poor, weak, and needy in the world. Do we ignore their plight?"
