Tomorrow is Thanksgiving so I decided to look up the word a  Bible concordance, listing every word with "thanksgiving" found in the Bible. Surely there wouldn't be too many. Wrong!

There are 26 verses with the word thanksgiving in them; along with verses with words like "thank, thanked, thankful, thankfulness, thanking, thankworthy, thanks, and thanksgivings (plural). Not one word using "thankless" (like saying, "well, this is sure a thankless job!"). 

Must be thanks, thankful, thanksgiving is important in our daily lives! Must add to our contentment, our emotional, our mental, and/or spiritual state of being!

So here are two of the "thanksgiving" verses:

Psalms 95:2 -- "Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!"

Philippians 4:6 -- "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
