Today's writing is by Stephanie Sample in her "365 Days of Prayer for Women". She talks about 'perfection'. Are you like me that you struggle with perfection tendencies? I sometimes get frustrated by something that I do 'wrong? God doesn't expect our perfection. He wants our Love, Belief, and Trust in Him.

CELEBRATE PERFECTION

"Why do you call me good?"
Jesus asked. "Only God is truly good."

"God in light of your perfection, my lack of it is humbling. How carelessly I toss the word around, as if a well-cooked steak or even a stunning rose could shine next to your brilliance. Even Jesus, your own Son, refused to accept the praise that belonged to you. You alone are perfect. Your power, brilliance, and faithfulness, your mercy, tenderness, creativity, and beauty know no equal. You wisdom, will, and judgment are unmatched. I praise you, Lord. I celebrate your perfection. I sing of your goodness and I long to bathe in its light."
